Are You Ready?
Revelation 3: 10 – “Because you have kept My command to preserve, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”
We are all being distracted. The world is consuming us. Yet, we have allowed it to do so as if other things are more important to us then our Father.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
(Rev. 18:3) – For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
- Lovers of self = taking a bunch of selfies, conceited, mind always on themselves instead of God.
Carousing = the activity of drinking alcohol and enjoying oneself with others in a noisy, lively way.
Drunkness – state of being intoxicated or fornication with the world.
Yahweh wants for you to live for Him and to get the reward of our redemption through the Messiah.
If you are not placing your life fully in His hands then you are not ready.
The cares of this world are distractions. This system was put in place to keep you bogged down and pull you away from our Creator and our Messiah. It wants to have you follow the course of Satan’s will.
Understand that bills do not matter, medical concerns do not matter, education does not matter, your career does not matter, your vacation time does not matter. The only thing that matters is our submission to God. If your life does not represent this then you are not ready.
ALL OF THEM ARE DISTRACTIONS!!
Align your goals and your life not with the cares of this world but with the Messiah and his words.
The economic system, the social structures, our education system, technology our was of life today are all built on the foundation of a satanic systematic agenda.
That may be a hard pill to swallow. But we have let our pride supersede God’s will for our lives.
“Be on your guard, so that your minds are not dulled from carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life or that day will come on you unexpectedly”. Like a trap, it will come upon everyone on the entire earth. Therefore Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36).
Jesus was teaching was warning his disciples to be on alert, to be watchful at all times and pray that they may have the strength to escape what is about to occur.
If we do not keep watch and allow the cares of this world to supersede our relationship with God, you will not recognize that the Messiah is on his way.
Mockers shall come in the last days who walk after their own lusts saying “ Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all continues as from the beginning of creation… 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
God is being patient with us. He does not wish that any should perish. He has not come because he has been waiting for you!! He is waiting for us to be ready and sober-minded rather than being drunk on the fornications of mystery Babylon, but he will not wait forever.
10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.
A thief chooses night time over daytime because he/she knows that this is the time that people are sound asleep and unprepared for unexpected visitors.
The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything were done in it will be laid bare. a 11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. b That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
(2nd Peter 3:3-11).
We have been called out of darkness so that this Day should not over take us as a thief. We are all sons (and daughters) of the day. We are not of the night nor darkness. Therefore let us not sleep. We are to be aware. We must be in an awakened state because those who sleep are unprepared.
Wake up, get out of the darkness. Wake Up! The wrath that is coming is not for you, if you put God first. That is why God sent the Messiah. Live for Him by your actions not just your words. We have to be sure that we are not doing the same as the mockers, be sober-minded and make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with the Most High.
Going to church every Sunday will not save you. Religious traditions will not save you. They are not the actions that James is talking about.
It is time for repentance and time to take a self inventory. Ask for forgiveness for making the world a priority over God. Are you focused too much on your career or money, too much tv, too much idle time, any evil influences. What are your distractions? What are the areas for opportunity to improve upon? Review all the things you do daily and ensure they are biblically sound.
No more pretending to be holier than thou. No more honouring the traditions of man. The world is approaching a correction period that is imminent. We do not know the day or hour that our Messiah will return, but we can surely discern the times. If you are unable to fully discern the times, read the word and it will help provide you with understanding. Read a chapter a day. Spend more time learning the warning of the end time so that you are not robbed by the thief and therefore keeping a watchful eye on what is occurring across the globe.
Show God you love him with your actions not just your words. Faith produces works. Align your life with what God says in his word, being led by the holy spirit and strengthen your relationship with God a be a living example so that your light may shine upon others because he is coming.
Wake up. Come out of her my people. Time is almost up. Don’t just get ready, be ready
